In May 2025, a walk up Mount Snowdon became far more than a personal or physical challenge.

Through David’s Walk, and thanks to the generosity, trust, and support of colleagues, friends, and partners, we raised $3,000, along with donations of stationery and backpacks. This collective effort has enabled 40 children at St Monica’s Primary School in Nyautare, Zimbabwe, to attend school for a full year.

Each child was selected through an independent assessment carried out in collaboration with the school’s teachers, David’s Walk, and local committee members, ensuring that the support was allocated fairly, transparently, and with integrity.

In August, we travelled to Zimbabwe to personally present the scholarship awards. Meeting the children and their families, and seeing first-hand the impact of this support, was deeply moving and reinforced how powerful access to education can be in creating long-term opportunity.
Every step taken on the mountain represented a shared commitment to positive change. What began as a single walk became a meaningful example of how collective action can lead to lasting impact across communities and continents.
David’s Walk is only the beginning. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping turn compassion into opportunity for the children we support.
Maita basa. Tinotenda.— Thank you very much. We appreciate it, in Shona.
